Cantor Air has successfully completed TECNAM P2012 training for AEROVÍAS DAP international pilots, delivering an advanced program focused on real-world operational readiness in Europe
On Tuesday, March 17th, Cantor Air successfully concluded a TECNAM P2012 training program, training two pilots from the Chilean airline AEROVÍAS DAP.
This project further strengthens the school’s international positioning, confirming its ability to work with pilots and operators from diverse operational backgrounds and to deliver training programs aligned with real-world operational requirements.
An international training between Tecnam Capua and Cantor Air Valbrembo
The training program began at TECNAM’s headquarters in Capua and continued at Cantor Air’s operational base in Valbrembo, where the pilots underwent a structured TECNAM P2012 differential training program.
The training was focused on full operational integration on the aircraft, including VFR and IFR flights, management of standard operational conditions, and simulated emergency scenarios. The program concluded with a final skill test, successfully passed by both pilots, confirming that all required standards were achieved.

A know-how built between training and operations
Cantor Air is today one of the few European organizations to have developed concrete and continuous experience on the TECNAM P2012 Traveller.
This expertise has been built through direct collaboration with TECNAM, including international ferry flights, and further strengthened by operational experience gained alongside active operators such as SMALLFLY.
This path has led to the development of an approach where training and real operational experience naturally integrate, creating a solid training model aligned with the operational needs of airlines and professional pilots.
TECNAM P2012 Traveller: versatility and operational performance
The TECNAM P2012 is a modern and highly versatile aircraft, designed to meet complex operational needs. Equipped with two Lycoming or Continental engines, it can carry up to nine passengers in addition to the pilots and is certified for single-pilot operations.
Its characteristics make it ideal for regional transport, medical missions, and special operations, while ensuring excellent performance even on short or semi-prepared runways.
Training focused on real-world operations
The success of this training reflects Cantor Air’s approach to pilot training: a model built on real operational experience, high standards, and an international vision of training.
Each program is designed to support pilots in developing solid, applicable skills by combining technical preparation, decision-making ability, and operational awareness, in line with real industry dynamics.
