The purpose of the course is to achieve the Type Rating, "Single Pilot" on PIPER PA 46 SET aircraft

The purpose of the course is to achieve the Type Rating, "Single Pilot" on PIPER PA 46 SET aircraft in one of the PA 46 500TP - DLX JETPROP versions, in accordance with EASA PART FCL regulations.

Pre-requisites for admission:

  • Have no less than 200 total flight hours, including at least 70 hours as PIC and have a valid IR-SE rating.
  • Preferably hold an IR SE SP rating.
  • Have taken a theoretical ATPL course and have successfully passed the associated exams.

NB: As an alternative to the theoretical ATPL, the student may take or have taken a High Performance Airplane (HPA) course.

Course Schedule:
Total hours of theoretical instruction: 15;00
Total hours of practical instruction: 10;00
Theory:

The Course includes theoretical training for the PIPER PA 46 with a minimum of 15 hours of classroom instruction;

NB: It is also possible, should the candidate request it, to take the lessons via e-learning with an online system that will make all the theoretical knowledge shared in class available at home as well.

Flight Program:

The flight program includes no less than 10 hours of practical training

Scheduled exams:

A practical exam with Examiner once the flight hours have been passed successfully.

Course Duration:

The duration of the course is normally 15 days, but can be adjusted to the needs of the candidate.
